Incontinence pants for boys
can be washed at 60 degrees many times. Ideally, use a neutral washing powder. The incontinence pants can be tumble dried but stay in better condition if they are not. The pants are made of 92% cotton and 8% elastane. The absorbent pad itself is made of 100% cotton and is antibacterial (allergy-friendly) and breathable. The pants contain no harmful substances and are Oeko-Tex certified.
We have designed the pants in patterns and colours that make wet spots less visible than, for example, plain red or turquoise fabric. We are continually working to improve the fit and durability of the pants and are very receptive to customer feedback.
The pants are suitable for light daytime incontinence and ensure that minor accidents are not visible to others, while looking very much like regular underwear. The pants are designed to absorb as much as possible WITHOUT looking nappy-like or bulky. The pants do not have a waterproof membrane like nappies, but they are breathable and do not rustle.
The pants are not suitable for faecal incontinence.
If the child is aware of their accidents and feels embarrassed about them, the pants can help ease their worries.
Solution for daytime wetting - here and now
In addition to our incontinence pants minimising the visibility of accidents, a vibrating watch can also help your son remember to go to the toilet. It can be set at regular intervals throughout the day.
Why does my son wet his pants?
There can be many reasons for this. For example, a urinary tract infection, constipation, an overactive bladder, or giggle incontinence. Psychological causes are rare, contrary to what was once believed.
How can the incontinence issue be resolved?
There are many things you can do to help your son: It’s important for your child to drink enough, so the bladder has something to work with. It may also help if he sits down to urinate, has peace and quiet, and practises 'double voiding' – allowing him to urinate, then waiting a few minutes, and letting him go again. Finally, you should consult your GP for further help and clarification on the nature of the issue.
